wow action figures

Collectors come in all stripes, people who  genuinely possess a love for which they are  making collections, those that just love the chase of being able to complete a collection, and people who hope their investment will 1 day completely pay down.  One doesn’t need to be  among the  an incredible number of players of World of Warcraft to collect its toys.  The younger players though, or the young in mind, often have a difficult time resisting the urge to consider  the warcraft action figures with their box.  The slightly older players may also  obtain the  warcraft action figures reminiscent of He-Man figures sold in the 80’s.

You will find four main companies that started manufacturing warcraft figures since Warcraft 2.  They are Blizzard Entertainment, Toycom, Advanced (SOTA), and DC Direct (of DC Comics).  Outside of these companies, DC Direct has made the most important line of figures, 25 miniatures including state of the art miniatures, through 2009.

Blizzard, this company behind World of Warcraft, or WoW has only released five miniatures.  These are Human Footman, Orc Grunt, Malfurion Stormrage, Muradin Bronzebeard, and Thrall.

Toycom has made six figures all from Warcraft 3.  SOTA produced only three figures that happen to be: Tauren Shaman, Undead Warlock, and Jungle Troll Voodoo Priest.

DC Direct released its first group of warcraft action figures in 2007.  This first series was comprised of Meryl Felstorm: Undead Warrior, Rehgar Earthfury: Orc Shaman, Valeera Sanguinar: Blood Elf Rogue, and a deluxe figure, Illidan Stormrage: Night Elf Demon Hunter. DC has released five series over the end of 2009.

As Steve Carell’s character, Andy, proved in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, possessing a mint toy collection is usually a nice investment.  Those not really acquainted with WoW, but seeking the next “hot” collectible, could explore these wow action figures because WoW is really a Guinness World Record holding massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), holding the record for some subscribers, over 11 million.  With increasingly more followers worldwide it’s likely a market will exist in the foreseeable future for anyone collectors who were able to purchase the warcraft action figures now and collect them.  And unlike the He-Man figures these WoW action figures aren’t currently being mass produced and sold in retail outlets.
